Bennett Elementary Earns School of Excellence Designation
School communities across Prince William County are celebrating the designation of "Schools of Excellence" based on performance in the 2013-14 school year.  Schools earn the coveted distinction by demonstrating high levels of performance, as evaluated by state accreditation and Virginia academic Annual Measurable Objectives.  Schools of Excellence must also attain an overall score of at least 90 out of 100 points of the PWCS Strategic Place-based measures.
The recognition program began in 1999.  The School of Excellence distinction is the highest recognition awarded to a school by the Prince William County School Board.  This is the 11th time that Bennett ES has received this honor.

Rich in History and Excellence
Bennett Elementary School has a long history of pride in learning and relationships among students, parents, and staff.  Our school focuses on a strong academic program as well as helping students succeed and build everyday relationships.  The Prince William County Curriculum, which includes the Virginia Standards of Learning, is the school's guide for instruction.  Parents are very involved and supportive of their children's education.  Staff members are highly committed professionals who believe in preparing students to function effectively in an ever-changing technological society.
